Limited is owned and directed by Alun Morgan and Michael Scott. The
company was formed in
2000, and we provide training and consultancy in compliance reviews and practice
management development for accountancy and other professions throughout the UK. 
 | Alun
specialises in audit and accounts training, audit quality control visits, and
practice management issues. He
has a keen eye for the technical issues that will impact on the general practitioner.
This has been gained from many years working in this area and means he is well
placed to advise on how general practitioners can sensibly implement changes in
the field of accounting and auditing standards. His training focuses on what people
need to know in their working lives. |
Most
recently, he has been involved in putting across the views of practising members
on the ethical standards for auditors and UITF 40. This practical slant on technical
areas comes across well in his presentations. Up
until June 2007 he sat on the council of the ICAEW, and currently sits on its
Practice Society committee and Financial Reporting committee. 
 | Michael
Scott is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and ACCA.
He specialises in audit compliance and regulatory training. He has extensive experience
in this field having spent a number of years with the ACCA's Practice Monitoring
Unit conducting audit regulatory visits to practices throughout the UK and Ireland. Michael
lectures regularly throughout Europe and is particularly involved in the international
operations of the company. He frequently undertakes audit workshops for professional
bodies in the UK, Cyprus, Malta, the Caribbean and Africa and has audit file review
clients worldwide. |
 | Margaret
trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse and developed her career
through the Audit Commission and Deloittes.
She is a member of ICAEW and manages the finance function of the company.Margaret
has extensive experience of internal controls and corporate governance issues
through her various roles In the past she has acted as Chief Internal Auditor
and Finance Director for a number of organisations. Recently,
she has become involved with the professional examination process with ACCA. |
 | Karen
is the administrator for PCP Ltd. She deals with telephone calls to the office,
credit card payments and all administration for the training courses run in South
Wales. Before
joining PCP Ltd in 2002 Karen worked in the Executive Office at the Institute
of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in London. Having
no working knowledge of accountancy, Karen can't help with technical queries but
she makes up for that by her enthusiasm and ability to point you in the right
direction for the help you may require! |
