This course explains current best practice for financial reporting by charities.
The course reviews the current Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) and covers
the content of the trustees' report and the financial statements. Current standards
on charity auditing are also reviewed. Recent developments covered will include
the implementation of the Charities Act 2006 and the associated consultations
and legislation. The course will include practical examples of reporting practice.
